Monsoon in Andaman and Nicobar begins from July, and lasts up to September. Andaman and Nicobar receives an average heavy rainfall in Monsoon, but the peak season could see heavy downpours. It might not be the best time to visit this place for water activities and other outdoor activities. Therefore, it's not suggestible to visit the beaches or participate in water sports activities. It is well connected with major cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bangalore. There aren't direct international flights available for this destinations. From airport to island distance is 31 kms, you can reach by car within 40 minutes to island.

By Ship:

Another way to reach Andaman Nicobar is by Ship. You can take a ship from Chennai, Vizag/ Visakhapatnam or Kolkata. These ships usually take 3-4 days to reach Port Blair. They sail up to six times per week between and are cheaper than flights. From airport to island distance is 31 kms, you can reach by car within 40 minutes to island.
