    Located in the Kundali Hills of the Western Ghats in Kerala in southern India, Silent Valley National Park is a popular destination for nature as well as wildlife lovers all across the globe. Initially occupying only 89.52 Sq km, this national park grew with time to be declared as the Reserved Forest. The lush green forest is home to a number of wildlife species. The ones who are most commonly seen here are the elephant, tiger, lion-tailed macaque, gaur, wild pig, panther and sambar. Due to its proximity to the Western Ghats, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is blessed with a dizzying array of natural biodiversity that is teeming with life.
